I was having a really bad morning this morning and decided to get a coffee to cheer myself up. I got a coffee and a bagel, and I requested they be made with love. They really came through. My white chocolate lavender coffee was perfect... And just what I needed. I wish I got the names of who helped me but they were so sweet.

Been a long time I didn’t feel a good coffee. Since I’m not a fan of bitter, White Chocolate Mocha was a good choice to me. Neither too sweet & it’s a perfect blend.

I’ve been coming to Five Lakes Coffee since they first opened their doors in Sturgis 24 years ago, and to this day it’s still my absolute favorite coffee shop. The coffee is consistently amazing, the staff is always kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting. Before their Five Lakes Coffee location in Kalamazoo opened, I used to drive an hour to Sturgis twice a month just to get a cup of coffee, that’s how good it is. Five Lakes has always felt like more than just a coffee shop; it’s a place that feels comforting, familiar, and worth going out of your way for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee and even better people!

Best coffee I have had in a long time! I got a frozen caramel latte, and it looks like Biggby has some major competition! Sweet but not sugary (if that makes sense), and it was very well blended.

Stopped into Five Lakes Coffee after seeing really good reviews online. The place itself is really nice - spacious, lots of tables, definitely the kind of spot that works well for catching up with a friend or getting a little work done. I ordered their popular vanilla caramel latte, but when it came out, it was surprisingly room temperature even though it was labeled as “hot.” When I brought it up, the response I got was just “OK, I’ll remake it for you.” Sounded like it was my fault that I was complaining. First of all, this should not have happened to begin with. I mean the drink was not even warm, it was room temperature. Then I kind of expected a warmer acknowledgment, something like “Sorry about that, let me fix it for you.” Little details like that make a big difference in service, especially at boutique-style coffee shops. The lady did apologize after she delivered the second drink. So I have to give credit for that. The atmosphere is great, and I hope they tighten up on the service side a bit. it could really elevate the experience.
